The Lord has been warning mankind from the beginning that you cannot believe everything that you hear. He has always warned us of the fruit of lies. Satan killed the creation with a lie. Therefore, we need to take heed to the warning of false prophets. The MO of a false prophet will make you feel secure in believing that you can sin against God. They will mix in a truth with a lie just like Satan did with Eve to make them sin against the Lord. Therefore, the people that believe them will die the second death just as we all die the first death.
