Who are the Gentiles? The Gentiles are the sons of Japheth (Genesis 10) or commonly known today as Europeans. Paul, the Israelite from the Tribe of Benjamin was the Apostle to the Gentiles (Corinthians, Romans, Galatians, Ephesians etc).
The prophet Daniel foretold of the four “beasts” aka Gentile Empires (Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greek, and Rome) that would rule the world in succession until Jesus returns with his Saints and overcomes the last kingdom (Rome) by force and as a result, conquering the world and establishing a universal kingdom of equity and peace for all who serve him:

17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.
18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;
20 And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.
21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
The “Ancient of Days” is Jesus, so those with understanding know that the world will end with a world war against Jesus that will eventually result in world peace as Jesus (The Prince of Peace) and his Saints will overcome and establish a righteous kingdom.
We read about this same time by both Joel the prophet and John the Revelator:

15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
16 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
Revelation 17:13-14

13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
How will this all come to fruition? Well first, Rome, the Great and Terrible Beast that Daniel the prophet foretold of, has to be revived (it never really died fully, it just lost some power):

8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
There has not been a world wide ruling empire since ROME. America is a great nation but pales in comparison to the power, length of dominance, and the past and present wealth and control of Rome.
America is not Babylon in prophecy like many claim. America is actually just a branch off of the tree of Rome. Hence the governance, architecture, and culture of America.
Revelation 13

13 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly WOUND was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
When Rome is revived she will go into great perdition (destruction) as the abomination of desolation (pope) will cause the great tribulation on this earth via the EU’s armies which has never been seen.
When we read the word Beast above in Rev. 13 it is referring to a kingdom. This kingdom will be the new modernized form of the ancient Roman empire. It has to be revived or healed. The 10 horns are the United States of Europe (EU) who have signed the treaty of Rome.
These 10 nations will give up their sovereignty to Rome which will revive Rome as a dynasty. This is why we have known for a long time that Britain had to leave the EU (Brexit) because they are not willing to give up their sovereignty and bow down to the orders of the Pope.
If it were not for Brexit, the EU would not have been able to create an EU Military. So everything happens for a reason.
Once Rome (Western Europe) is healed, they will go to War with Russia and her allies (Eastern Europe) but the good news is that after all of the chaos and hell of the great tribulation and the events that follow, during WW3, Jesus and his armies will intervene, destroy them both, as well as all the wicked people on earth, put an end to the Gentile (European) Dynasty, and will setup HIS heavenly KINGDOM of REAL PEACE and JUSTICE here on EARTH!
Now we will see how the Gentiles are preparing to fight Jesus upon his return (even if they do not yet know it) as a result of the Roman empire being revived through the EU.
Many are unaware that the EU was founded on the Treaty of Rome. This is why European Union leaders met in Rome on March 25, 2017, in a ceremony to mark the 60th Anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, which saw the foundation of the European Economic Community (ECC), the precursor to the modern-day European Union:
EU nations must step up their military co-operation as they cannot simply rely on the US to defend them, EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker says.
“Our deference to Nato can no longer be used as a convenient alibi to argue against greater European efforts.
“We have no other choice than to defend our own interests in the Middle East, in climate change, in our trade agreements,” he said in Prague.
US President Donald Trump has urged Nato allies to boost defence spending.
Last month German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Europe could no longer “completely depend” on the US and UK, following the election of President Trump and the triggering of Brexit.
The UK and France are by far the strongest military powers in the EU, so UK withdrawal potentially weakens Europe’s collective military muscle.
Only five of Nato’s 29 member states – the UK, US, Poland, Greece and Estonia – have met Nato’s target for each member to spend at least 2% of their GDP (national output) on defence.
Mr Juncker told the Prague defence and security conference on Friday that “the way forward starts with making sure that we spend what is needed on our defence”.
Cold War-era tensions have resurfaced since Russia annexed Crimea in 2014 and pro-Russian rebels carved out a separatist region in eastern Ukraine.
A controversial plan to establish an EU military headquarters in Brussels has been approved by the bloc’s foreign and defense ministers:

“The protection of Europe can no longer be outsourced,” Mr Juncker said.
But he stressed that “competition between the EU and Nato is not an option”.
He praised the EU-Nato partnership in some key hotspots around the world: Afghanistan, the Balkans and the Horn of Africa.
But he deplored inefficiencies in European military spending and planning, saying much more co-operation on defence projects was needed in the EU.
Mr Juncker said the EU was spending on average €27,000 (£24,000; $30,000) per soldier on equipment and research, whereas the US was spending €108,000.
“Together, we spend half as much as the United States, but even then we only achieve 15% of their efficiency,” he said.
“Absurdly, there are more helicopter types than there are governments to buy them! We must do better.”
The UK has long been one of the strongest voices in the EU against any moves towards forming a European army. The UK says the EU must not duplicate Nato’s role as the main pillar of European defence.
However, Mr Trump’s criticisms of Nato have raised questions about the US commitment to defending Europe.
European Defence Fund
On Wednesday the European Commission announced the launch of a European Defence Fund, agreed with national governments, to help finance joint military projects.
The EU will earmark budget funds to co-finance projects that EU member states want to develop together.
Under the plan, €500m will be made available annually after 2020 for joint military research, and another €1bn annually for joint investment and purchases of military equipment, such as drones and helicopters.
The EU has formed some joint battlegroups, intended as a rapid reaction force, but they have never been tested in combat.” – BBC
