WHO IS EDOM?

²² And the children STRUGGLED TOGETHER within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to ENQUIRE of the LORD.

²³ And the LORD SAID unto her, TWO NATIONS are in thy womb, and TWO MANNER of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the ELDER shall SERVE the YOUNGER.

²⁴ And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were TWINS in her womb.

²⁵ And the first came out RED, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name ESAU.

²⁶ And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called JACOB: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.

According to the Holy Bible and World History Edom also known as Esau, is the son of Isaac and Rebekah, and is the twin brother to Jacob. Esau ended up selling his birthright to his younger brother Jacob for some lentils (yeah, “lentils”… crazy right?). As a result of selling his birthright, he would set the stage to fulfill the above prophecy of the “elder shall serve the younger” and lose his privilege as the first born to any inheritance that he would have normally received. 

His descendants are the Edomites.

As a result of Esau selling his birthright to Jacob, Jacob was the one who got blessed by Isaac as if he was the firstborn and thus God made his covenant with Jacob and his descendants whose name God changed to Israel. These children of Israel would eventually be known as God’s chosen people as God gave them his oracles, laws, prophecies, and understanding that it would take to ultimately get everlasting life. Furthermore, he chose a land for them, the African country formally known as Canaan, but today known as Israel.

However, the Bible and history informs us that the children of Israel (the descendants of Jacob) who once became a great nation in the land of Israel after being delivered by God from Egypt captivity, were removed from their land. In fact, it is the Edomites, the descendants of Jacob’s twin brother who occupy the the land of Israel today claiming to be the Jews/Hebrews of the Bible, when in actuality, they are not.

While Esau’s physical skin color is RED, the Hebrews, God’s chosen priests to all nations, are a Black people. This is why God made a distinction between Esau and Jacob being twins but two separate nations and manners of people. The Hebrews are scattered throughout the world in slavery, and cursed by God for breaking his covenant. The scriptures from Genesis to Revelation pronounce how they will be cursed and oppressed until the SECOND COMING of the MESSIAH. To see the curses that are currently on Israel and to find out when they will be delivered from slavery read Deuteronomy 28 & Deuteronomy 30.

If this is true, you must ask yourself, how did the Edomites come to occupy the promised land? Well, if you read about the curses in Deuteronomy 28, you would have seen that if Israel broke their covenant with God then God said he would remove them from the promised land and scatter them into slavery through out the world.

God cannot lie, so when Israel ended up breaking their covenant with God, they eventually were forcefully removed from their land and scattered into worldwide captivity. This is why Jesus, who was an Israelite from the tribe of Judah, wept for his city and people. He knew this was going to happen as he was a prophet, and God in the beginning. Talking about the Jews, Jesus forewarned:

²⁴ And they shall FALL by the EDGE of the SWORD, and shall be LED AWAY CAPTIVE into ALL NATIONS: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the GENTILES, until the TIMES of the GENTILES be FULFILLED.

The Gentiles are the sons of Japheth (Genesis 10). Commonly known as Europeans. We are living in the times of the Gentiles, which is why Europeans rule the world. (God gave all of Noah’s son’s a fair chance to rule the world and we are nearing the end of the Gentile’s rule which will usher in the return of Jesus).

The beginning of this prophecy was fulfilled in 70 AD when the Roman Emperor Titus, besieged Jerusalem and burned down the Second Temple, decimated the city, crucifying many, and enslaving more.

“The crucifixion of Jesus about AD 30 did not end Jewish resistance to the Roman occupation. In 70, when the country was again in a state of revolt, Jerusalem, the holy city, became the core of resistance to the Romans. Titus, the son of Emperor Vespasian preceded to lay siege to Jerusalem. The city fall and the inhabitants were enslaved in their thousands and dispersed throughout the Mediterranean world. This was the first dispersion and worse was yet to follow. Continual insurrections and revolts again Roman rule led to the total destruction of Jerusalem in 135. The city was renamed Aelia Capitolina and all Jews were prohibited from entering it. A second and more important dispersion not took place and the whole of Judea was renamed, Palestine.”

So we see that God cannot lie. Those that escaped this attack from Rome who came from the North, went down South into Africa, where they dwelt among the Africans who ended up selling them to Arabs and Europeans for power, weapons, and commodities during the Trans-Saharan and Trans-Atlantic Slave Trades.

Here is what the World Scope Encyclopedia, Volume 5 & 6 says about Edom:

“Meaning Red, the name given to Esau on account of the red pottage secured by him by his brother Jacob. The name was also given to the country settled by Esau, having been previously known as Mount. Seir. It was about one hundred miles long and twenty miles wide, and was situated between the dead sea and the gulf of Aqaba, in land from the Red Sea. Bozrah, now Busaira, situated in the extreme northern part, was the chief city and the capital. During the reigns of David and Solomon, Edom was under subjection to the Israelites. Later, the Edomites ravaged the southern borders of Palestine and were denounced by some of the prophets of Israel. After the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD, the name of Edom or Idumea disappeared from Geography.”

So around the same time the Israelites got besieged, enslaved, and removed from their land by the Romans is the exact same time Edom disappeared from geography? How did that happen? They simply moved into the land of Israel, pretending to be their twin brother. Perhaps this is a result of Esau’s bitterness for selling his birthright and not inheriting the promised land. Nonetheless, you might be able to hoodwink the majority, but you cannot fool God or those with knowledge.

Since all nations have to go through God’s people to find out how to understand the Bible and get Salvation as Jesus said “Salvation is of the Jews”, then it behooves us to know who his people are. But since the biggest identity theft in world history has occurred with God’s very own, of course he had to warn us about it:

⁹ I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the BLASPHEMY of them which SAY they are JEWS, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

As read above, there are two sets of people being discussed and Jesus knows of them both. The Lord was addressing His people, the real children of Israel, who are as mentioned above cursed, which is why they were scattered into captivity and are the most oppressed people on earth. Thus, he says he knows their tribulation and poverty.

But they are rich SPIRITUALLY because they are God’s chosen and have been blessed with the oracles of God. Yet, on the other hand he knows about the BLASPHEMY of the perpetrating a fraudulent identity, claiming to be the Real Children of Israel.

King David prophesies about the confederacy that Esau (Israeli’s) and Ishmael (Palestinians) conspired together to occupy the land of Israel and eliminate the native Israelites.

As a result of this collusion, today, the masses do not know who the true Israelites are.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is longer than people may think. Esau and Ishmael are old time rivals and the only time they have agreed was when they worked together to distort the identity of the original Israelites and occupy their land:

These false Jews are going to be the one’s who will build the Third Temple. This temple is important in prophecy because it is a major event in the timeline of the end of the world. Once the Third Temple is build and the Pope moves into the Temple and claims to be God, this will usher in the Great Tribulation which will last for 3.5 years and after the Great Tribulation, the Lord will make His Second Coming.

It is therefore very important to understand who God’s people are and what is occurring in world events. This is why in the Bible we are told to “watch and pray”. So let’s see how close the Edomites are concerning the building of the Third Temple.

“On Thursday, the day after the holiday of Shavuot, hundreds of people gathered in the Old CIty of Jerusalem for a reenactment of the Temple service known as bikurim, or the “bringing of the first fruits.” The ceremony included a special thanksgiving offering that sealed the recent Sanhedrin ruling establishing the boundaries of Jerusalem for the Third Temple.

The procession along the walls of the city to Tekuma Park was accompanied by musical instruments specially made for use in the Third Temple, and blasts from shofarot (ram horns), just as the Talmud described it in Temple times.

The ceremony was performed by Kohanim (men of the priestly caste) dressed in authentic garb as described in the Bible, led by Rabbi Baruch Kahane, who has played a prominent role in many of the Temple reenactments.

In the days of the First Temple, the first fruits of the annual harvest were brought to Jerusalem as an offering between the holidays of Shavuot (Festival of Weeks) and Sukkot (Festival of Booths). The fruits were brought in baskets, beautifully displayed, and given to the priests. For the reenactment, children from all over Israel presented Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, a member of the Sanhedrin, with first fruits they had gathered from their personal gardens.

“Bikurim is giving back to God the best from what he gave us: the Land of Israel,” said Rabbi Hillel Weiss, spokesman for the Sanhedrin, to Breaking Israel News. Rabbi Weiss cited the verse from Deuteronomy, from which it is learned that first fruits may only be brought from the land of Israel; the commandment cannot be performed outside the land.

Thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the ground, which thou shalt bring in from thy land that Hashem thy God giveth thee; and thou shalt put it in a basket and shalt go unto the place which Hashem thy God shall choose to cause His name to dwell there. Deuteronomy 26:2

Bikurim are brought from the seven species which have a special significance to Israel: wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olive oil, and dates (honey).

The fruits were given to the priests after the donor recited a confession, detailed in Deuteronomy 26:1-11, acknowledging God as the one who redeemed the Israelites from the Egyptian bondage, and expressing gratitude to God for bringing them to the Promised Land.

Sheep were presented by the Kohanim, but the actual slaughtering was performed in a different location.

The foreleg and the breast were presented to Rabbi Kahane as a representative of the priesthood. The remainder of the sheep was roasted, as mandated in the Bible.

The ceremony included bringing thanksgiving offerings of loaves specially prepared for the ceremony. The Sanhedrin has been involved in a study of the borders of Jerusalem, culminating in their official ruling. Just as in the days of the Temple and the original Sanhedrin, they marked this ruling by a thanksgiving offering, designating the borders of greater Jerusalem for the Third Temple era.

“This, coming just after Jerusalem’s Jubilee, was precisely the time to establish greater Jerusalem,” Rabbi Weiss said. “And Shavuot is the holiday that celebrates God giving Israel the Land of Israel.”

The Sanhedrin modelled their ruling after the same action performed by Ezra and Nehemiah, who mapped the boundaries of the city of Jerusalem when they returned to rebuild the Temple in the fifth century BCE.

The borders of greater Jerusalem established by the Sanhedrin reach from southern point designated by Karmei Tzur in Gush Etzion to the south, the city of Ofra in Samaria as the northern point, Jericho as the eastern point, and the city of Beit Shemesh in the West. The Sanhedrin has made several tours of the border, setting up signposts to designate the area.

The rabbi explained that as a holy city and the location of the Temple, the boundaries of Jerusalem have Biblical implications and are not a matter for secular and political authorities to determine.

“These are the borders sanctified for purposes of the Third Temple, within which Jews will be permitted to eat their Paschal sacrifice and any other Temple purposes which may only be performed within the Holy City,” Rabbi Weiss said, citing the Prophet Zechariah to indicate the ramifications for impinging on the sanctified borders of the city.

For thus saith Hashem of hosts who sent me after glory unto the nations which spoiled you: ‘Surely he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye. Zechariah 2:12

“The world is arguing about the history of Jerusalem, when all of that is written in the Bible,” said Rabbi Weiss. “While they try to rewrite the Bible, here in Jerusalem we are bringing the words to life. Precisely as they are written.”
