Have you noticed that no matter what ecclesiastical or political decisions each pope brings to the table during his incumbency that the media and the people of the world all tend to generally admire and esteem him as a man of great virtue? What’s up with that?
I wonder if the same thing was said about Pope Nicholas V that decreed the Dum Diversas Papal Bull in 1452 which initiated and legalized the trans-atlantic slave trade. See this post for more information. Or what about the papal position regarding the deaths of millions during the Roman Inquisitions?
To be honest it would not surprise me. So I guess I should not be surprised that the current Jesuit leader, Pope Francis is loved and esteemed as an advocate for peace. If someone said that the U.N. and world presidents were pious, peaceful, and honest, would you believe them?
What does reality and history prove to us? Well why don’t we look at some history and the scriptures to see what has been said about the grandiose office of the Pope?

So we see that various reformist leaders identified the pope as the Anti-christ. Do you think they had good reason to do such? Could they have been all wrong? Well let us look at the bible for guidance.
Revelation 13:16-18

So there is a number of a man that = 666. Did you know that one of the official titles of the pope is Vicarius Filii Dei which in Roman Numerals = 666.
What Does 666 Mean?
Concerning this Anti-Christ figure aka the “Man of Sin”, the prophet Daniel wrote:

How does the pope speak great words against the most high? He calls himself by titles that are only meant for the most high!
The titles given to the pope are clearly blasphemous in nature. The office of “pope” is not mentioned in the Bible; however, Jesus said that His disciples would not exercise lordship over each other, and that whosoever would be a leader would have to be a servant.
Some Titles of the Pope
1… Holy Father.
This title of the pope is blasphemous on at least three levels:- [i] There is none holy but God (1 Samuel 2:2). [ii] Father, Jesus commanded that we call no man our father in a religious sense (Matthew 23:9). [iii] Holy Father, this title belongs solely to God the Father since it was used by the Lord Jesus Christ in one of His prayers (John 17:11).
2… Supreme Pontiff.
The dictionary defines ‘pontiff’ as ‘pope, high priest, bishop’. The full title actually means ‘Great High Priest’. The fact is, this title has already been claimed by the Lord Jesus Christ. The book of Hebrews calls Him the “Great High Priest” (4:14, 8:1, 10:21). The thought being ‘Supreme Pontiff’ also includes the idea of ‘Chief Bishop’ or ‘Chief Shepherd’. Nevertheless even these titles have been given to the Lord by the apostle Peter (1 Peter 2:25, 5:4).
3… Vicar of Christ.
The title ‘vicar’ refers to a person being a representative or substitute. There is only one that fully represents Christ on this earth, not the pope of Rome, but the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit as “another Comforter” (John 14:16-17, 26, 15:26).”The pope of Rome indeed takes upon himself the names of blasphemy. Not only does his triple tiara teach that he is the king of Heaven, king of earth, and king of Hell, but he has also taken the titles of the Trinity as his own. How did the Pope wear out the saints?? By killing innocent bible loving people by way of monks and Jesuits during the inquisitions!
In 1244, the Council of Harbonne ordered that in the sentencing of heretics, no husband should be spared because of his wife, nor wife because of her husband, and no parent spared from a helpless child. Once in custody victims waited before their judge anxiously, while he pondered through the document of their accusation. During the first examination, enough of their property was likewise confiscated to cover the expenses of the preliminary investigation.
The accused would then be implicated and asked incriminating and luring questions in a dexterous manner of trickery calculated to entangle most. Many manual’s used and promulgated were by the grand inquisitor Bernardus Guidonis, the Author of Practica Inquisitionis (Practice of the Inquisition) and the Directorium Inquisitorum (Guideline for Inquisitors) completed by Nicolaus Eymerich, grand inquisitor of Aragon. These were the authoritative text-books for the use of inquisitors until the issue of Torquemada’s instructions in 1483, which was an enlarged and revised Directorium.A Chapter of the Manual is headed “of the torture” and contains these small reflections:
“The torture is not an infallible method to obtain the truth; there are some men so pusillanimous that at the first twinge of pain they will confess crimes they never committed; others there are so valiant and robust that they bear the most cruel torments. Those who have once been placed upon the rack suffer it with great courage, because their limbs accommodate themselves to it with facility or resist with force; others with charms and spells render themselves insensible, and will die before they will confess anything.”
The author gives further directions:
“When sentence of torture has been given, and while the executioner is preparing to apply it, the inquisitor and the grave persons who assist him should make fresh attempts to persuade the accused to confess the truth; the executioners and their assistants, while stripping him, should affect uneasiness, haste, and sadness, endeavoring thus to instill fear into his mind; and when he is stripped naked the inquisitors should take him aside, exhorting him to confess, and promising him his life upon condition of his doing so, provided that he is not a relapsed (one dilated a second time), because in such a case they cannot promise him that.”
Later afterwards in the sixteenth century, Cardinal Giovanni Caraffa, a zealot for the purity of Catholicism who later became the pope himself, also held a stern and gloomy view of moral rectitude for heretics. In 1542, he was appointed by pope Paul III to administer the Inquisition.The manuscript life of Caraffa gives the following rules drawn up by Caraffa himself:
“Firstly when the faith is in question, there must be no delay; but at the slightest suspicion, rigorous measures must be resorted to with all speed. Secondly, no consideration is to be shown to any prince or prelate, however high his station. Thirdly, extreme severity is rather to be exercised against those who attempt to shield themselves under the protection of any potentate, and fourthly, no man must lower himself by showing toleration toward heretics of any kind.”
Multi-millions of people have been slaughtered by the Vatican, thus saith the Lord (Rev. 18:24). History bears record to this fact. During the Roman Catholic inquisition in Europe, 68 million people were tortured, maimed, and murdered by this huge sect. The St. Bartholomew’s Day Massacre accounted for the butchering of as many as 100,000 Protestants. President Abraham Lincoln blamed the papacy for the Civil War in these words:
“This war would never have been possible without the sinister and secretive influence of the Jesuits. We owe it to popery that we now see our land reddened with the blood of her noblest sons.” Lincoln added, “I am for liberty of conscience in its noblest, broadest, and highest sense. But I cannot give liberty of conscience to the pope and to his followers, the papists, so long as they tell me, through all their councils, theologians, and canon laws that their conscience orders them to burn my wife, strangle my children, and cut my throat when they find their opportunity. Does the Pope have the authority to change times and laws?
Gregory XIII is best known for his reformation of the calendar, producing the Gregorian calendar with the aid of Jesuit priest/astronomer Christopher Clavius. The reason for the reform is that the average length of the year in the Julian Calendar was too long, and the date of the Vernal Equinox, important in the computus, the calculation of the date of Easter, had slowly slipped to March 10, from its traditional date of March 21.
This was rectified by following the observations of Clavius and Kepler, and the calendar was changed when Pope Gregory XIII decreed that the day after October 4, 1582 would be October 15, 1582. He issued the papal bull Inter gravissimas to promulgate the new calendar on February 24, 1582. On October 15, 1582, this calendar replaced the Julian calendar, in use since 45 BC, and has become universally used today.
Pope Gregory XIII (Pope from 1572 to 1585) had great power during his day. According to this article on Pope Gregory XIII, “the power of the papacy increased under him.” He certainly was a bloody Pope, as he had the Hugeonots slaughtered. The article is almost dismissive toward that horrible slaughter of brave Christians who refused to kneel before the Eucharist. Pope Gregory even “celebrated the St. Bartholomew’s Day Massacres in 1572 with a Te Deum and a commemorative medal, with his portrait and on the obverse a chastising angel, sword in hand and the legend UGONOTTORUM STRAGES (“Huguenots slaughtered”)”. Interestingly, this passage in the article describes what Pope Gregory did to bring us our modern-day calendar, or the Gregorian calendar:
“The Pope has the power to change times, to abrogate laws, and to dispense with all things, even the precepts of Christ.” “The Pope has the authority and often exercised it, to dispense with the command of Christ.” Decretal, de Tranlatic Episcop. The Church of Rome changed the law of the Sabbath Day!

They “dispense with the command of Christ???” When the Catholic church is asked…”Why do you feel you have the power, authority and ability to change Scripture to match your traditions?”
They answer:
“Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her; –she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday the seventh day, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority.” –Rev. Upon observing the various warnings by the prophets, apostles, and the early church concerning the Anti-Christ it should be clear to know that the Roman Catholic Church is the seat of the culprit. However, you can only know this if you diligently study the bible, ask God for understanding, and pay attention to history. The Anti-Christ system is powered by Satan. Satan is crafty and very wise. He will not be able to deceive anyone if he blatantly tells the world that he is Satan. However, if he disguised himself as a harmless angel of light, like he did with Eve, then it will be a bit more difficult to evade his trickery (See 2 Corinthians 11). The Anti-Christ system works the same way. The people controlling this system will not tell you that they are in cahoots with Satan, or else none would follow them. However, the God of the bible has given us a guide for truth and deception in the form of his WORD! This is something to praise God for!! If it were not for the simplicity of Christ, the love for his creation, and the mercy he has shown us, then none would have a chance. It is based on this very same love and mercy that we need to take special heed to the words of God pertaining to all that he has said. Remember that “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God”. (Matthew 4:4)
If we take these words of God seriously and literally, then we need to take heed to the warnings he has given us all throughout the old and new testament dealing with deception and in particular the “Anti-Christ”!
These warnings come in the form of signs that would allow all true believers to identify the apostasy in this purporting Christian organization. Some of the signs include blatant biblical laws like the sabbath being “changed”. In my opinion, the office of the papacy is getting ready to establish his seat in Jerusalem in order to fulfill the “Abomination of Desolation” (Matthew 24:15) whereby the Anti-Christ will go into the third temple (once built in Jerusalem) and claim to be God (Daniel 11:31-45). We cannot say with all surety that the current Jesuit leader, Pope Francis will be the one to make desolate the holy place (third temple).
On the other hand, I would not be surprised if it was Pope Francis because if you look at the several ungodly declarations he is making like stating that homosexuals and atheists will “make it into heaven”, calling for “global economic reform“, and the fact that he is convening with world religious leaders for “peace” talks, it becomes evident that he is overtly and quickly pushing the satanic NWO.
